In other accidents a pony was hit on the A326 at Hardley but was not injured. Another pony was involved in a collision on the C10 at Vereley Hill. A search was carried out but the animal could not be found.
The incidents occurred in the week starting December 11 - and all five took place during the hours of darkness.
Unlike previous weeks none were hit-and-run accidents in which badly injured animals were left to suffer before being found.
