Wetherspoons are set to slash their prices on a range of food and drink items in January, including at their Southampton venues.
From Tuesday, January 2 to Wednesday, January 17 the sale will be in place for customers to make savings.
The participating pubs in the Southampton, Eastleigh and Fareham area are:
- The Standing Order in High Street
- The Giddy Bridge in London Road
- The Bright Water Inn in Shirley Road
- The Wagon Works in Southampton Road
- The Red Lion in Bitterne Road
- The Lord Arthur Lee in West Street
- The Crown Inn, in West Street
What food and drinks are on sale at Southampton Wetherspoons for the January sale?
Drinks
- Bud Light (pint) - £2.29
- Doom Bar (pint) - £2.29
- A classic cocktail (Espresso Martini, Strawberry Daiquiri and Tommy’s Margarita) - £3.29
- Beck's Blue (bottle) - £1.49
- Pepsi Max (14oz) - £1.49
- Lavazza coffee, tea and hot chocolate (with free refills) - £1.29
Other drinks included in the Wetherspoons sale but did not have their price mentioned included Budweiser, Worthington's Stowford Press, Corona Tropical hard seltzers, AU Vodka, Sidemen XIX Vodka and a range of soft drinks.
The low-alcohol and alcohol-free drinks included in the sale are Erdinger, Brewdog Punk AF, Stella Artois, Heineken 0.0, Kopparberg Strawberry & Lime, Adnams Ghost Ship and Beck's Blue.
Food
Patrons can get a small breakfast (fried egg, bacon, sausage, baked beans and a hash brown) for £3.99.
Alongside that four burgers including the American burger, classic beef burger, crunchy chicken strip burger (all served with chips) and skinny beef burger (served with a side salad) are included in the sale.
They cost £4.99 with a soft drink and £6.46 with an alcoholic drink.
Finally, the pubs will also be serving a range of small plates (including halloumi-style fries, chicken wings and Nachos) with any three for £12.
Wetherspoon founder and chairman Tim Martin said: "Department stores and shops hold their sales in January, so it is the perfect time to have a sale in the pubs too.
"The range of drinks and food on sale in the pubs is aimed at suiting a wide variety of tastes. This year we have included our biggest selection of low and non-alcoholic drinks.
"I believe that the January Sale will prove popular with our customers.
"As always, staff at the pubs will serve customers responsibly."
