Train commuters faced disruption this morning after an 'operational incident' blocked lines in Southampton.
South Western Railway apologised to commuters, who experienced delays between Southampton Central and Millbrook during rush hour.
In a statement at the time, a spokesperson for South Western Railway said: “Due to an operational incident between Southampton Central and Millbrook Hants, some lines are blocked.

“Train services running through these stations may be delayed or revised."
The delays were caused by a blocked platform, which meant trains needed to be rerouted by the signaller.
South Western Railway did not explain what the 'operational incident' was - despite the Echo asking for an explanation.
They told commuters at the time: "For further information or onward travel advice, please speak to a member of staff or use a station help point.
“We are very sorry for any delay that this may cause to your journey.”
The disruption lasted until 10am.
