Snow has been forecast for Southampton as temperatures are expected to plunge.
According to the Met Office's predictions, we can expect a heavy snow shower on Monday afternoon with a 60 per cent likelihood of it happening.
A cold snap is expected to sweep in tomorrow, bringing temperatures of 2C, feeling like -2C, to the city.
A spokesperson from the Met Office said the weather will be ‘cloudy changing to light snow by lunchtime.’
Gritters have already been out across the county this weekend, with road surface temperatures set to drop below freezing.
But things are expected to brighten up on Tuesday, with sunny spells and temperatures of 4C expected.
