It has three different levels of parking which can be booked, with regular parking being at the on-site multi-storey car park and a one to three-minute walk away.
Alongside that, there is Priority Parking which has the benefit of wider bays alongside regular patrols.
Finally, there is the 'Meet & Greet' parking which as the name suggests offers valet parking so your car never has to leave the airport.
Parking can be pre-booked at the website here and can be made at least two hours before your arrival time at the airport.
At the time of writing the long-stay car park for Southampton Airport is closed, which usually has the benefit of a free five-minute shuttle bus to the terminal.
Southampton Airport drop-off system
There is an option for a quick drop-off just a one-minute walk away from the main terminal in the short-stay car park.
Passengers who choose this option will be charged a £6 fee for 20 minutes.
On the Southampton Airport website, it states: "When you arrive at the Express Drop Off, please drive up to the barrier. Your vehicle registration will be scanned, giving you automatic access.
"When exiting the Express Drop Off, simply drive up to the exit barrier where payment can be made. Payment can be made using credit/debit cards, contactless technology is also in place (there is no additional fee for using cards)."
