CHARTERS Group has announced the purchase of a Wickham-based letting agency.

Purelet Ltd will be bought by the the Chandler's Ford-based estate agency, which has described this new partnership as 'uniting the two businesses with a similar ethos and shared commitment'.

Purelet Ltd is based in Wickham.

Peter Nobbs, of Purelet Ltd, reacted to the news of the acquisition, saying their clients will 'benefit greatly' from the merger.

According to its website, Charters has won 40 industry awards, including recent titles from the UK Property Award for Real Estate Agency (5-20 Offices), Best UK Property Website and Real Estate Marketing of the Year.

They are also accredited by the Association of Residential Lettings Agents , meaning they are fully compliant with all legislation.

Charters has said that, over the coming year, the company will be actively seeking opportunities to invest in other portfolios as part of its ongoing lettings expansion strategy.
