A Southampton travel agency branch has revealed the top 10 most booked holiday destinations so far in 2024.

January is typically the most popular month to book a holiday and Barrhead Travel says it is predicting that this month will be one of their busiest on record as customers take advantage of early booking discounts and deals.

Plenty of European destinations have already emerged in the top 10 for travel trends, as the likes of Alicante, Lanzarote and Tenerife are among the most booked.

People are also heading further afield, as Barbados, Dubai, Canada and Turkey also feature in the most booked section.

Cruises from Southampton to Mediterranean locations were among the top 10 most booked, beating out big spots such as Barcelona.
