A shoplifter who stole almost £500 worth of chocolate, energy drinks and washing powder from a Southampton Iceland store has avoided jail.
Carita Blyth stole £482.48 worth of stock from Iceland on Shirley High Street during four incidents in October and November 2023.
Southampton Magistrates' Court heard energy drinks, an air fryer, chocolates, washing-up liquid, vitamins, protein powders and washing tablets were stolen.

Blyth, 51, of Hope Street, Southampton admitted four counts of theft from a shop.
These relate to incidents on October 9, 14 and 31, and November 18.
She also pleaded guilty to assault by beating on October 14 at the same Iceland store.
Magistrates gave her a 14-week prison sentence suspended for 18 months.
Blyth must also pay £532.48 in compensation.
