A HAMPSHIRE country pub has welcomed its previous general manager back to the role.
Angela Farmer, who managed the Hunters Inn on Cott Street, Swanmore, when it first reopened in 2022, has returned to the pub.
Ms Farmer told the Chronicle that she took time off to deal with some family issues, and is happy to be returning to the Hunters Inn.
She said: “I still work for (pub owners) Stewart and Pam Elliott and we’ve now got Botleigh Grange and the Royal Swan up and running. So, I’ve just come back into the company.

Ms Farmer said that the pub is planning on featuring live music and family events, saying: “We’re planning on having live entertainment once a month. Obviously, we are promoting Botleigh Grange and Ashley Manor as we have rooms there where we can do deals.
“We are showing the rugby and there is a playroom for the kids; the kitchen will be running from Wednesday to Sunday and we’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back.
“It’ll be really nice to get the pub up and running again and getting regulars back in.”
