A till and a safe at a Costa Coffee branch have been damaged after it was broken into.

Police were called shortly after 4am on Thursday to reports that the coffee shop at Adanac Health and Innovation Campus had been targeted.

No-one was inside the store at the time, and nobody was injured.

According to officers, various areas of the Hurst Way store were damaged.

This included a till and safe.

A spokesperson from Hampshire Constabulary said: “We are currently working to confirm if anything has been taken.

“Enquiries into this incident are ongoing.”
