Southampton is set to be hit by rain this week with the Met Office issuing a yellow weather warning for parts of the UK.
Southampton’s forecast for the week looks largely cloudy before rain threatens to dampen the end of the week.
It comes as a weather warning for rain has been issued for parts of Scotland on Monday with the Met Office advising that persistent rainfall might bring some disruption.
Monday’s forecast in the city will see highs of 10 degrees with the temperature rising throughout the day.
Tuesday will see less cloud cover with the chance of light rain by early evening – highs of 12 degrees.
Wednesday may begin with showers, but it will clear throughout the day and be mostly cloudy.
Heavy rain is forecast for both Thursday and Friday, though the Met Office has not issued a weather warning for the area.
The weekend will see the rain move away from Southampton, but it will be largely cloudy, with highs of nine degrees.
