Police have issued an update after a man was seriously injured in a crash.
Thousands of Saints fans were heading to St Mary's Stadium when the incident happened opposite the Esso petrol station on Northam Road, Southampton.
Initially police said only minor injuries were involved - but did not specify to who or the nature of the injuries.

Now a Hampshire police spokeswoman has said a motorcyclist in his 60s suffered a serious injury to his ankle.
The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance landed near St Mary's Stadium ahead of the high-scoring Saints v Huddersfield game at 3pm.
A police spokeswoman said: "We have had an update that a man in his 60s suffered a serious injury to his ankle. No arrests have been made."
Officers were called to the scene at 1.04pm along with ambulance crews.
