The following drivers have appeared at Southampton Magistrates' Court for speeding on the M27 and M3...

ROBERT LUFFMAN, 30, of Mill Road, Lancing, West Sussex pleaded guilty to speeding after he was caught at 88mph on the M27. He was driving an Audi between junctions five and seven near West End when he was caught by an automatic speed camera. Luffman was on the eastbound carriageway at the time. He received three points on his licence and was fined £66. Luffman must also pay a £34 surcharge.

SHAFOON SALEEM, 49, of Carrington Road, Slough admitted to exceeding a temporary 50mph speed restriction on the M3 southbound at Winchester. He was driving a Volkswagen Golf between junctions nine and eleven when he was clocked at 61mph by an automatic speed camera. Saleem was fined £146 and must pay £110 court costs plus a £58 surcharge. He received three points on his licence.

LEE CHESTER, 42, of Durley Crescent, Totton pleaded guilty to exceeding a temporary 50mph speed restriction after he was caught by an automatic camera on the M3 between junctions nine and eleven. Chester was in a Volvo driving at 64mph close to Winchester at the time. He was fined £246 and received three points on his licence. He must pay £110 court costs and a £98 surcharge. 

FLORENCE SIMPSON-BENTLEY, 29, of Divot Way, Basingstoke admitted to exceeding a temporary 50mph speed restriction whilst driving a Mercedes on the northbound M3. She was driving between junctions ten and nine near Winchester when she was clocked at 68mph by an automatic camera. Simpson-Bentley was given three penalty points and a £66 fine. She must pay a £34 surcharge. 

ZACHARIAS PARAMBI, 60, of The Keep, Fareham pleaded guilty to exceeding a temporary 50mph speed restriction on the M3 southbound between junctions nine and eleven. He was driving a Skoda near Winchester when an automatic camera caught him at 57mph. Parambi was fined £66 and received three points on his licence. He must pay a £34 surcharge.
