A junction on the M27 at Hedge End is set to close overnight this weekend.
The closure comes as part of preparations for the M27 to be resurfaced with low-noise concrete this spring.
Junction 7 on the westbound entry slip will close overnight from 9pm to 6am on Saturday, February 17.
Informing followers on X, formerly known as Twitter, a spokesperson for Hedge End Town Council said: “As part of the preparations for the M27 concrete resurfacing this spring, National Highways has informed us that the M27 junction 7 westbound entry slipway will be closed overnight from 9pm to 6am on Saturday, February 17.”

A statement on the National Highways website says: "As part of our ongoing preparation work, we need to complete some concrete repairs on the carriageway."
A spokesperson added: “We can only repair the concrete when a lane closure is in place, and as our contraflow traffic management hasn’t been installed yet the work must take place overnight.
“This work will take place in various locations from February to March 2024.”
