Police have located a missing 68-year-old woman from Porchester.

Dawn Mursell, 68, was last seen at around 2.00pm on Friday, February 16, on Portobello Grove in Portchester.

Speaking before the pensioner was located, a spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: “Can you help us find a missing woman from Portchester?

“We have been carrying out enquiries to try and locate her, but we are extremely concerned for her welfare and we are now turning to you for assistance.”

“If anyone has seen Dawn or has any information about her current whereabouts, please call 999 quoting reference 44240069870.”

Dawn is described as:

  • White
  • 5ft 2ins tall
  • Blue eyes
  • Short dark hair which is slightly greying
  • Faint, red eyebrows
  • Walks with a slight limp

Dawn was last seen wearing blue jeans and a yellow three-quarter length coat.

The police have now located Dawn and the search has been disbanded.
