A venue and date for Trans Pride Southampton 2024 has been revealed by organisers.
The city's biggest annual event dedicated to celebrating the Southampton transgender community, it will be held on June 29 at the Edmund Kell Unitarian church in Bellevue Road – the same venue that hosted the event in 2022.
This will be the third year the event will take place.

In 2023, those involved in the event said the aim was to raise awareness of the transgender community and the problems they face.
In a statement posted to Facebook, a spokesperson from Trans Pride Southampton said: “We can confirm that we will be having Trans Pride Southampton at Edmund Kell Unitarian, Southampton.
“This is a very peaceful venue in Southampton, which accepts people of all religions, races, classes and genders.
“The venue is fully accessible to disabled folk, with a working lift, ramp, and disabled toilet.
“The venue has had same sex weddings and hosted name change ceremonies for trans people.
“We did the first Trans Pride Southampton in 2022 at Edmund Kell and had a great time.
“We know that on June 29th you will have a great day too.”
