As the city was battered by intense rain last night and a yellow weather warning was issued by the Met Office, Sunday is set to be a little drier – with even a few spells of sunshine.
With highs of 16C, the chance of rain is much less than Saturday with sunny intervals around 3.00 and 4.00pm today.
A spokesperson for the Met Office said: “Rain slowly clears south-eastwards through the morning, with heavier bursts possible across southern counties.
“Cloud will break up to give a fine afternoon with occasional sunny spells, although the odd isolated shower still possible. Maximum temperature 16 °C.
“A fine and dry evening expected for most, perhaps with one or two isolated showers lingering for a time. Sufficient cloud cover should ensure a mild night for most.”
