The ‘devastated’ family of a woman at the centre of a murder investigation have paid tribute to the ‘devoted mother and grandmother’.
Police officers rushed to Delphi Way around 4.52pm on Sunday, February 11 after the body of a 57-year-old woman was found inside a maisonette in Widley.
Following the discovery a murder investigation was launched and a 37-year-old man from Waterlooville was arrested on suspicion of murder. He has been bailed with conditions until May 11.

They said: “Our whole family is devastated and heartbroken by the sudden loss of our mum and daughter, Annette.
“She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Our lives will never be the same. Rest in peace our beautiful angel.”
Police remained at the scene in the days following the incident hoping that anyone with information would approach officers.
Officers remain investigating the death carrying out enquiries into the death as a postmortem examination was inconclusive.
