A busy Southampton road has been cordoned off by police due to an incident.
Police have shut Romsey Road at its junction with Rownhams Road and Wimpson Lane as officers responded to the incident which saw the Air Ambulance being called.
The charity confirmed one doctor and two specialist paramedics were dispatched to the incident at 1.04pm today.
Drivers coming on approach from Romsey Road (from the Tesco Express) will have to make a U-turn as the road has been shut from outside CareCo.
Those approaching the junction from Rownhams Road - the road is closed by the bus stop / other side of CareCo.
However, motorists coming from Wimpson Lane can turn right onto Romsey Road, and the other way around.
