A Warsash pub has closed its doors as it undergoes a six-figure refurbishment.
The Silver Fern pub in Warsash Road shut on Monday ahead of the work starting.
The watering hole is earmarked for closure for around one month only – but no specific reopening date has been confirmed.

A spokesperson from Greene King said: “The Silver Fern pub on Warsash Road in Southampton is closing for a short period from February 19, while it undertakes a six-figure investment.
“The Silver Fern will reopen its doors to the public in late March, following the completion of major renovations.”
The pub boasts ‘top notch amenities’ including a beer garden, TNT Sports, and a pool table.
It usually serves food from midday to 9pm every day, except Sunday where food service ends at 8pm.
