A man has been jailed after a shoplifting spree costing over £150 at a Co-op store.
Steven Frederick Scaum, of no fixed abode, entered the shop on Long Lane on January 24.
Scaum placed £157.90 worth of items in a basket and then left the store without making any attempt to pay.
The 32-year-old was already wanted on a recall to prison when he was arrested in Long Lane on February 16.

He pleaded guilty to stealing the goods.
Appearing before Southampton Magistrates’ Court on February 16 he was sentenced to two weeks’ imprisonment.
As well as the time he will now spend behind bars, Scaum must also pay compensation totalling £157.90.
