A Southampton driver who was clocked at 46mph on the M27 has been given points on his licence.
Moyassoar Alsoutari of Orchard Lane, Southampton was caught by an automatic camera whilst travelling at 46mph near Fareham.
He was driving a Peugeot between junctions ten and nine and heading westbound.
A 40mph variable speed limit was in place at the time of the offence on June 11 last year.

The 26-year-old pleaded guilty to a single count of exceeding a variable speed limit at Southampton Magistrates' Court.
He was fined £72 and received three points on his licence.
Alsoutari must also pay a £28 surcharge though no order was made for court costs.
This must be paid in full by March 14, 2024.
