Police are searching for a wanted man from Southampton.

Dylan William Hawkins, 22, is wanted on recall to prison and for escaping lawful custody.

Police believe the 22-year-old is from Fawley and might still be in the Waterside area of the New Forest.

However, he also has links to Wokingham, Berkshire.

A spokesperson for Hampshire police said: “Officers have followed various lines of enquiry to locate him, and we are now turning to the public for assistance.”

Hawkins is described as white, 6ft 1ins tall, of slight build and has blue eyes.

He also has straight, cropped hair.

Hampshire Police added: “If you have seen him, or have any information regarding his current whereabouts, please contact us on 101, quoting incident number 44240066386.

“Anyone found to be harbouring Hawkins, in order to deliberately obstruct our attempts to locate him, may be committing an offence and be liable for arrest themselves.”
