Drivers are being warned that road resurfacing will be carried out in the Fawley area at the end of next month.
Planned maintenance work on the B3053 Fawley Road will take place from the roundabout at Long Lane to outside 10 Ashdown.
The road will be closed to traffic from 8pm to 6am for up to four nights.
Drivers can bypass the affected area by using Blackfield Road, Newlands Road, and the northern end of Hampton Lane.
Posting on social media, Hampshire County Council said: "Due to the impact the works would have on traffic, and to minimise disruption, the works need to be carried out at night.
"The exact start date and working hours will be confirmed about two weeks before the works start.
"Pedestrian access will be available at all times. Further details of how the road closure may affect access can be found on our website https://www.hants.gov.uk/roadworks"
