Roll up, roll up! Cirque: The Greatest Show came to The Mayflower Theatre, Southampton for two nights on February 16 and 17.
Producer and director of the family business Entertainers, James Taylor, created the show along with creative producer Max Fox, both working to bring the circus to life.
The crowd was amazed by aerial stunts and daring feats accompanied by West End musical hits that got everyone singing, like The Greatest Showman, LaLa Land and Rocketman the musical.
When the curtain lifted we were greeted by a kaleidoscope of colour and circus tunes. The mime artist played by Christian Lee takes the audience through the show, providing comedic relief and keeping the audience on their feet with two members of the audience being drawn onto the stage to help entertain everyone, providing belly laughs to all.
The excellent hits throughout provided an amazing experience for the senses with the wonderful voices of the cast enthralling the audience with songs like This is Me and Rocketman.
Perfect for all the family, children and adults alike, no one will be bored, whether for celebrations of a birthday or anniversary, or just an evening out, this show is for everyone, one and all!
Sandra Diffey, a member of the audience, was celebrating her birthday with her family. She said: “It is a very fast moving show and very entertaining, you were just sat waiting for the next act to come on because it was so exciting. ”
