A man has been found seriously injured after he was assaulted, police have said.
The victim, in his 30s, suffered injuries to his head and body in Blendworth Lane, Southampton.
Officers were called to the street at 2.13am on Saturday to the assault.
A police spokesperson added: "He has been taken to hospital for treatment to the injuries, which are not considered life-threatening at this time.
"Officers are in the area making enquiries, and we would urge anyone with information to contact police on 101, quoting 44240038083."
