A hit-and-run incident crash on the M27 has sparked a police investigation.
The incident, involving a car and a van that drove off, took place near junction three, Nursling Interchange, on the M27 at 6.43am.
One person suffered minor injuries after the collision on Monday, February 26, and police are now investigating the incident.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Police said: “The collision involved a car and a van. It has been reported that the van did not stop at the scene of the collision.
“One person suffered a minor injury.
“The matter is under investigation.”
This comes after a separate crash on the M27 on Wednesday, February 21, that resulted in the death of a 36-year-old lorry driver.
A resident also appealed for witnesses through social media, with them writing: “Has anyone seen a hit and run on the M27 junction three?
“Grey van hit a black Audi and fled the scene.”
The resident said that if anyone witnessed the incident or saw the registration plate of the van involved, they should contact the police.
