A popular national bakery is set to open in Hedge End in the coming weeks.
Greggs will soon swing open its doors at the former Pizza Hut and Gourmet 4 Kitchen and Bar site.
The brand’s iconic blue sign has been erected at the premises in Hedge End Trade Park as the opening creeps closer.
But no specific date has been confirmed by Greggs.
A spokesperson for the company said the store is set to open ‘within the next few weeks’, adding ‘we will be able to share further details closer to the opening’.
It comes after a planning application was submitted to Eastleigh Borough Council last year.
The green light was given in October 2023.
The former Pizza Hut store at Hedge End Trade Park shut permanently in 2020 after several years serving customers.
It was replaced by the Gourmet 4 food hall, and most recently KFC.
