A knife and two machetes have been seized by police during a stop-and-search check in Southampton.
Police searched three males in the Millbrook area yesterday.
Posting on social media Southampton Police said: "Southampton West NPT team stopped and searched three males in the Millbrook area.
"As a direct result of this stop and search, one of the males, a 17-year-old boy, was arrested for possession of a bladed article as well as possession of suspected class A substances.
"This male has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
"In relation to this stop, officers have carried out a search of the immediate area and have located and seized two machetes."
