The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...
TYLER MARTIN, 22, of Harriet Tubman Close, London pleaded guilty to drug driving on Bernard Street, Southampton. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £80. Martin was ordered to pay a £32 surcharge.
GERAINT BEDFORD, 34, of Newton Road, Southampton admitted to driving without insurance on Briton Street, Southampton. He was driving a Ford. Bedford was fined £266 and received six points on his licence. He must also pay £110 court costs and a £106 surcharge.
PETER ROSHER, 37, of Athelstan Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to four counts of theft from a shop and one of fraud by false representation. These relate to Jack Daniels, caramel wafers, vodka and groceries stolen from Tesco, Asda, Lawrence's Garages Ltd, and Sainsbury's. The total value of the items was £168.48. The fraud charge comes after he tried to use someone else's cards to buy items from a shop. Rosher was ordered to pay £197.48 in compensation.

VETRISELVAM RAMALINGAM, 24, of Wodehouse Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to two counts of assault beating of an emergency worker, one count of common assault of an emergency worker and another of being drunk and disorderly in a public place, namely Wodehouse Road, Southampton. All of the emergency workers were paramedics. He was ordered to pay £150 in compensation and a £300 fine. Ramalingam must also pay £85 court costs.
PATRYK MICHALEK, 26, of Carlton Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress. He was fined £120 and must pay £85 court costs plus a £48 surcharge.
CRAIG GRIFFITHS, 34, of Millbrook Road West, Southampton admitted a charge of theft from a shop after he stole perfume sets worth £144 from Next. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and must pay £144 in compensation.
