A cyclist has suffered a serious head injury - with police now trying to find out how he was hurt.
The 64-year-old cyclist from Chandler's Ford was hospitalised after being found on North Walk, between East Tytherley and Broughton - north of Romsey.
Hampshire police want to hear from witnesses or see dash cam footage. Police were called at 10.50am on March 3
The cyclist is recovering in hospital. His injuries are not life-threatening, police said.
A spokesperson for the police said: "At this time we are trying to identify the circumstances as to how the cyclist was injured.
"Enquiries have identified several vehicles in the area around the time of the collision who may have seen the cyclist around the time of the collision or come across the scene and have not made themselves known to police.
"If you witnessed what happened to the cyclist or saw a cyclist travelling towards Broughton around the time police were called, please get in touch.
"Anyone with information should call 101, quoting reference 44240092821."
