The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court.

WILLIAM CLARKE, 42, of Magnolia Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage to a ladder and a van in Southampton worth £1,100. He also admitted to possessing an offensive weapon, namely a baseball bat and a public order offence. Clarke received a community order until June 3, 2025, with 15 rehabilitation days and an £80 fine. Clarke must pay £1,100 compensation. 

MARK COLLISON, 45, of Mansbridge Road, Southampton admitted four counts of theft from a shop. These relate to incidents at Hugo Boss in Southampton where £3,949 worth of items were stolen. He was jailed for 16 weeks and must pay £3,949 in compensation. 

HENOK BEYENE, 38, of Golden Grove, Southampton pleaded guilty to five counts of theft from a shop after he stole items including fragrances and air fresheners from John Lewis and Co-Op in Southampton. The total value of the items is £828.20. Beyene also admitted to possessing a controlled drug of Class A, namely cocaine. He was jailed for 26 weeks.

SIOBHAN CURTIN, 52, of Hollyoak Road, Southampton admitted to possessing a knife in a public place. She received a one-year community order with 15 rehabilitation days and a £120 fine. An order was made for the forfeiture and destruction of the knife and Curtin must pay £85 court costs plus a £114 surcharge. 

RICHARD STEVENS, 35, of Adelaide Road, St Denys pleaded guilty to racially or religiously aggravated common assault or beating. He was ordered to pay £100 compensation, a £150 fine and £85 court costs. 

REBECCA RAYBOULD, 40, of Mitchell Drive, Fair Oak admitted to drink driving on Blackberry Drive, Fair Oak. She was caught with 58 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Raybould was banned from driving for 16 months and fined £120. She must also pay £85 court costs and a £48 surcharge.
