Freshly prepared Greggs favourites, including sausage rolls, steak bakes and vegan alternatives, are flying off the shelves, after the bakery chain opened a new shop in Hedge End this morning.
The store, on the site at Hedge End Trade Park previously occupied by Pizza Hut, Gourmet 4 food hall and KFC, has created 15 jobs.
Open from 6am to 9pm daily, customers can grab a freshly made bake or sweet treat on the go, make use of the comfortable seating or click and collect a takeaway order via the Greggs app.

Gillian Long, Retail Operations Director for Greggs, said: “Our new shop in Hedge End has brought 15 new jobs to the local area, as well as providing customers with a modern, convenient new place to experience their favourite Greggs food.”
The location also includes a Nuttall Unit so customers can purchase some of Greggs favourite hot items such as Southern Fried Chicken Goujons and Potato Wedges.
