A man has been arrested after police discovered a cannabis factory in Southampton.
Police officers attended the property on Emsworth Road in Shirley around 3pm yesterday and found between 200 and 300 suspected cannabis plants in various stages of growth.
As part of their investigations, officers have arrested a 46-year-old man from Southampton on suspicion of cannabis cultivation.
He remains in police custody at this time.
Officers have remained at the scene today carrying out enquiries while SSE attended the property to make it safe.
