As much as £4,000 in heroin and crack cocaine and £15,000 in cash was recovered as part of an ongoing investigation into class A drugs in the Woolston area.

Police have charged two men as part of their investigations.

Eihadji Abdoulaye Sow, 21, has been charged with intent to supply cocaine and heroin and Alpha Issaga Diallo, 28, of no fixed abode, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of ketamine and cocaine and the possession of false identity documents.

The charges come as between £3,000 and £4,000 worth of heroin and crack cocaine was recovered.

On top of that, £15,000 in cash and fake ID documents have also been seized.

The two men have been remanded into custody and are next due to appear at Southampton Crown Court on Thursday 28 March.

These arrests come as part of a campaign by police to tackle county lines drug dealing networks in the city.
