The front of a shop has been "absolutely destroyed" after being "smashed".
Morrisons Daily in Romsey is currently closed following the incident.
Shocking photographs show a dented shutter and a shattered glass window.
Police have taped the store off while repair works get underway.
Passer-by Lola Hughes said: “I didn’t see it happen but there are people there working to repair the shopfront which is absolutely destroyed.
“There are a lot of people stopping and looking at it.
“The front of the door is destroyed, and the glass has been smashed.
“I don’t know what has happened.”
Hampshire Constabulary has been contacted for more information.
