Emergency services respond to incident on Itchen Bridge (Image: NQ)
Emergency services have responded to an incident on the Itchen Bridge in Southampton.
An ambulance and other emergency vehicles arrived at the bridge around 6pm this evening.
The vehicles stopped in the centre of the bridge, partially blocking one of the lanes and causing traffic to slow.
Emergency services left the scene at around 6.50pm.
The nature of the incident is unknown at this time.
Hampshire Constabulary has been approached for more information.
