The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...
MICHAEL SHANLEY, 35, of Rumbridge Street, Totton pleaded guilty to theft from a shop after he stole £388.96 of goofs from Asda in Southampton. He received a 12-month conditional discharge and was ordered to pay £12 in compensation. He must also pay £85 court costs and a £26 surcharge.
CAROLINE HUMPHRIES, 38, of Chelveston Crescent, Southampton was found guilty of failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a Ford. She was fined £450 and received six points on her licence. Humphries must also pay £620 court costs and a £180 surcharge.
THOMAS SMITH, 33, of Sandeman Grove, Hayling Island pleaded guilty to failing to comply with a lane closure traffic signal on the M27 between junctions ten and nine. He was driving a Ford near Fareham when he was caught by automatic equipment. He was fined £60 and received three points on his licence. Smith must pay a £40 surcharge.

SAMRA CHAUDHARY, 45, of Baytrees, Southampton admitted to speeding at 56mph on Bitterne Road West. He was caught by manned speeding equipment in an MG. The speed limit is 30mph. He was fined £120 and received six points on his licence. Chaudhary must also pay £110 court costs and a £48 surcharge.
SHAYNE EVANS, 43, Whitfield Road, Haslemere pleaded guilty to exceeding a 40mph variable speed limit on the M27 between junctions five and seven. He was clocked at 49mph by an automatic speed camera whilst in a Ford near West End. Evans was fined £121 and received three points on his licence. He was also ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £48 surcharge.
NATALIA TERESHKINA, 42, of Acorn Grove, Chandler's Ford pleaded guilty to drink driving on Pilgrings Close, Chandler's Ford. She was caught with 123 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Tereshkina was given a community order with 180 hours of unpaid work and a 29-month driving ban. She must also pay £85 court costs and a £114 surcharge.
