A dad was left shocked after he watched his garden wall crumble in front of his eyes on Thursday afternoon.
Martin O’Hara was looking out of his back door into his garden when the wall was knocked over by a gust of wind.
Southampton was battered by strong winds and heavy rain on Thursday as Storm Nelson hit the city.

Martin, who lives in Taunton Drive, Harefield, said he was looking out of the back door to check on his six-year-old daughter’s trampoline which was being buffeted by the wind at around 4.30pm when the wall crumbled.
He described the situation as “scary”.
“It was a good job there was no one stood there because there wouldn’t be a good outcome,” the told the Echo.
“Fortunately last week we had someone come round to start doing our patio and part of having that done is to have that wall taken down and replaced with a fence.”
