Police are searching for two men in connection with a £290 vacuum cleaner theft which took place in B&Q in Hedge End.

The incident, which happened at a B&Q store Charles Watts Way, involved the theft of a George vacuum cleaner, valued at £290.

Police said that the incident occurred between 9.45am and 10.40am on Tuesday, February 6.

In their appeal, police said they are also keep to speak to a third man in connection with the shop lifting offence.

He is described as:

  • Aged in his 40s
  • Approximately 5ft 9ins tall
  • Travelling in a blue Tesla

A spokesperson for the force said: “Do you recognise these men?

“Officers would like to speak to them, as well as one other man, in connection with a shoplifting incident which took place in B&Q, Charles Watts Way, Hedge End.

“We believe the men in these images can help us with our investigation and would urge them, or anyone who knows their identity, to get in touch with us.

“Also, if you have information about this incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.
