The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...
DEBORAH MAWSON, 36, of Princes Drive, Waterlooville pleaded guilty to theft from a shop after £209.88 worth of food and other items were stolen from Lidl in Hedge End. Mawson was fined £120 and must pay £85 court costs.
JAMES SIMPSON, 39, of Stafford Road, Southampton admitted to possession of a controlled drug of Class A, namely crack cocaine. He received a nine-month conditional discharge. A forfeiture and destruction order was made for the drugs. Simpson must also pay a £26 surcharge.
DANIEL DEWHURST, 29, of Raleigh Close, New Milton pleaded guilty to cultivating a controlled drug of Class B, namely cannabis. He also admitted two counts of handling stolen goods relating to two outboard motors worth £300 and a Sherco 290 motorbike worth £1,500. He received a one-year community order with 20 rehabilitation days. An order was made for the forfeiture and destruction of the drugs. Dewhurst must pay a £40 fine, court costs of £85 and a £114 surcharge.

DENHAM O'NEILL, 19, of Yeovil Chase, Southampton admitted to possessing a controlled drug of Class B, namely cannabis. He also pleaded guilty to driving without a licence and driving without insurance on North East Road, Southampton. O'Neill was fined £200 and received six points on his licence. An order was made for the forfeiture and destruction of the cannabis. O'Neill must pay £85 court costs and an £80 surcharge.
JAYDE RANDALL, 36, of Kitchener Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to theft from a shop after she stole £161.28 of items from The Range, Southampton. Randall was fined £80 and was ordered to pay £85 court costs.
ZAIN AHMED, 21, of Vine Road, Southampton admitted two counts of possessing a controlled drug of Class A, namely heroin and crack cocaine. He was ordered to pay a £120 fine and an order was made for the forfeiture and destruction of the drugs. Ahmed must pay £85 court costs.
