The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...
MARK HOLLOWAY, 54, of Monks Way, Eastleigh admitted drink driving in a Vauxhall Corsa on Paynes Road, Southampton. He was caught with 85 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Holloway was banned from driving for 20 months and fined £120. He must also pay £85 court costs and a £48 surcharge.
MARK CHASE, 52, of Bursledon Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress. Chase received a six-month conditional discharge.
CRAIG MANSBRIDGE, 54, of Woodmill Lane, Southampton pleaded guilty to drink driving on Bursledon Road. He was caught with 99 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He received a six-month community order with up to ten rehabilitation days and a 24-month driving ban. Mansbridge was fined £200 and must pay £85 court costs plus a £114 surcharge.

THEODORE WILLIAMS, 37, of Milton Road, Southampton admitted theft from a shop after a £104.99 Amazon Fire Tablet was stolen from John Lewis in Southampton. Williams was fined £60 and must pay £40 court costs.
DAVID WHITFIELD, 64, of Foldsgate Close, Lyndhurst pleaded guilty to speeding on the A336 Ringwood Road in Netley Marsh. He was driving a Volkswagen when he was clocked at 42mph in a 30mph zone by manned speeding equipment. He was banned from driving for six months and received four points plus an £80 fine.
MICHAEL YOUNG, 72, of Northgate Lane, Beaulieu admitted to speeding in a Saab on Bitterne Road West, Southampton. He was clocked at 35mph in the 30mph zone by manned speeding equipment. Young also pleaded guilty to driving without a licence. He was fined £72 and received three points on his licence. He was ordered to pay a £29 surcharge.
