A 21-year-old man has died after he crashed into a tree.
Police were called just before 10pm on Sunday to reports of a crash involving one vehicle on the A3090 near Chandler's Ford.
The crash involved a silver Toyota Celica and took place between the junctions for Hook Road and Hursley Road.
Officers say the car left the road and collided with a tree.
The driver, a 21-year-old man from Eastleigh, died.
His next of kin have been informed.
Now police are appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
A spokesperson said: "We are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following a fatal road traffic collision in Chandler's Ford.
