A man has been arrested after a four-year-old girl was allegedly assaulted.
Officers from Hampshire Constabulary received a report that the young girl was assaulted in Havant.
Since the report was made, a 36-year-old man from Havant was arrested on suspicion of common assault on Wednesday evening.

He was apprehended by a Fareham-based officer in another part of Portsmouth.
A spokesperson from Hampshire Constabulary said: “A 36-year-old man from Havant was arrested on suspicion of common assault on Wednesday evening (April 24).
“It follows a report of an assault on a four-year-old girl in Havant.
“The arrested man has now been released on conditional police bail.”
