Police are out in force in Riverside Park after a man flashed two women and a 16-year-old girl.
Hampshire police said residents should expect to see an increased police presence in Riverside Park today after three reports of indecent exposure in the area on Thursday.
Officers were called to two reports between 4.20pm and 4.45pm of a man indecently exposing himself to a woman in her 30s and a 16-year-old girl.
At about 4.15pm, the woman in her 30s was walking in the direction of Mansbridge bridge when she was approached by a man who indecently exposed himself.
Between 4.30pm and 4.45pm, it was reported that a man had approached a 16-year-old girl in the wooded area between St Marys Church and Monks Way and indecently exposed himself.
Police said the man attempted to speak to the victim but she walked away and managed to leave the area.
The force then received a third report shortly before 7pm that a woman in her 40s had been approached by a man indecently exposing himself.
He then attempted to follow her before running away.
Officers attended Riverside Park to conduct an area search and will remain in the area today and into the evening carrying out enquiries and patrolling.
The officers investigating the case want to hear from anyone with any information.
The man is white, at least 6ft tall, in his late teens to mid-20s, slim and was wearing a dark or black hoodie and balaclava.
He was also wearing a long blue dressing gown.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Did you see anyone matching this description in the area yesterday evening?
"Did you see anything suspicious in the Riverside Park area, particularly between 4pm and 8pm?
"Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting 44240183999/Op Tiree.
"Please come and speak to patrolling officers in the area today if you have any questions or concerns."
