Fire crews rushed to the scene of a blaze which tore through a Portakabin on Wednesday morning.
Firefighters from Redbridge and Totton rushed to the fire off Bury Road in Marchwood following reports of smoke around 6.30am.
After arriving at the scene and investigating, a 3m x 5m out-of-use Portakabin was found to be almost burnt out on a site inaccessible by crews.
The site sits on a hardstand in an isolated area away from any other buildings.
According to the fire service, one crew remained at the scene and maintained a watching brief.
The incident was then handed over to the landowner.
Fred Flynn who saw what happened described to the Echo: "At first it was just a little smoke then it was billowing out very black smoke and then the flames were very visible.
"The smoke was very black and dense and it was probably going for well over an hour."
