TONY WARD, 55, of Adelaide Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to two public order offences after an incident at Sainsbury's in Portswood Road. Ward received a one-year community order with eight rehabilitation days and a £120 fine. He must also pay £100 compensation and a £114 surcharge.
KAI THORNTON, 27, of International Way, Southampton admitted to possessing a controlled drug of Class A, namely cocaine. He received a 12-month conditional discharge and must pay a £26 surcharge. An order was made for the forfeiture and destruction of the drugs.
ROBIN RUSSELL, 38, of Portswood Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress. The court heard how the offence was a "serious" and "unprovoked attack on a paramedic" who was tending to his wounds. He received an eight-week sentence suspended for 12 months with a six-month mental health treatment requirement, five rehabilitation days and must pay £250 compensation.

JAY KITCHER, 24, of Hampton Towers, Southampton admitted a charge of theft from a shop after he stole £185.15 worth of butter from One Stop. Kitcher was fined £100.
SEBASTIAN HENDEL, 38, of Cranbury Avenue, Southampton pleaded guilty to possessing a controlled drug of Class A (cocaine) and possessing a controlled drug of Class B (cannabis). Hendel was fined £400 and must pay £85 court costs plus a £160 surcharge. An order was made for the forfeiture and destruction of the drugs.
ZACK TOPE, 31, of International Way, Southampton pleaded guilty to stalking involving serious alarm or distress in that he persistently made unwanted calls to his victim, attended her address without invitation, kicked her home address and made threats towards her. Tope received a community order until November 7, 2025, with a 30-day accredited programme, 20 rehabilitation days and 250 hours of unpaid work. A restraining order was made banning him from contacting his victim for the next two years. He must also pay £85 court costs and a £114 surcharge.
