The British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES) has re-accredited Solent University's industry-quality physiology laboratory for another five years.
The facility is one of few in England to achieve this status.
Benefitting a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, the lab also supports professional teams, including Hampshire Cricket and Southern Vipers.
Additionally the lab contributes to Solent's high-standard of teaching, recognised with a TEF triple Gold.
Dr James Wright, senior lecturer of sport science and performance at Solent, said: "This kind of recognition assures current and incoming students that Solent offers the very best facilities for practical, future-ready learning.
"Our physiology laboratory is a fantastic resource that really boosts students’ understanding of the way the human body works, and this accreditation is further proof that our work-ready approach to teaching is the best way forward for student success."
