CooperVision's Hampshire facilities achieved the LEED® Gold certification, a global hallmark of green building excellence.

The Mountpark packaging site in Southampton and Delta Park distribution hub near Fareham, rigorously evaluated for their environmental credentials, have now joined CooperVision's other certified facilities in Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Spain and the United States.

LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is a comprehensive system developed by the U.S. Green Building Council.

Design, construction and operational practices driving sustainability form the foundation of this standard.

Buildings earn points across nine measurements of excellence, including energy performance and water efficiency, where CooperVision's facilities shone.

The global contact lens manufacturer, CooperVision, prioritises sustainability in its operations, committing to more eco-friendly strategies in manufacturing and distribution.

Measures include reclaiming manufacturing materials for reuse after their initial purpose, endorsing responsible sourcing and beginning to offset waste from products and packaging that cannot be recycled yet.
