A man has been arrested after staff were allegedly threatened during a shoplifting incident.
Police were called to reports of a shoplifting at a shop on Stoke Road, Gosport on Monday.
It is alleged that alcohol was stolen and staff were threatened upon challenging the person,
A description was passed to police and a short time later it was reported that someone had entered an address on Carnarvon Road, committing a burglary.

Bank cards were among the items stolen.
Police spoke to residents and another shop that also reported a shoplifting as well as examining CCTV.
Now a 40-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary, attempted burglary, two counts of shoplifting, a public order offence and possession of class B drugs.
